Weidmüller has launched a range of Hazard Area Cable Glands. Weidmüller takes the safety of its customers seriously and takes a tough approach to ensuring its products always meet the necessary regulations. The Klippon cable glands have therefore been designed to complement the range of Hazardous Area Enclosures.
The Klippon Glands for armoured and un-armoured cables are designed for use in Ex e (increased safety) and Ex d (flameproof) applications. The new range is in addition to their already established assortment of cable glands that are for use in standard industrial applications or for Ex-zone applications.
Weidmüller introduced the new Klippon STB stainless steel and sheet steel enclosures range to build upon its philosophy of competence and quality in the supply of enclosures and customer solutions for standard industrial and harsh environment applications. The Klippon Cable Glands compliment the Klippon STB, POK, and TB as a sealing and terminating device to ensure that the characteristics of the enclosure which the cable enters can be maintained adequately.
