Vaillant’s commitment to reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions has been reinforced by an endorsement by the Energy Saving Trust (EST) across its entire ecoTEC boiler range. This applies to 20 natural gas and 13 LPG boilers, including the ecoTEC exclusive, ecoTEC plus, ecoTEC plus 937, ecoTEC pro and ecoTEC commercial range.
John Collings, UK Marketing Director for Vaillant Group said: “Recent revisions to the EST endorsement criteria for natural gas and LPG boilers means that all appliances have to be retested to meet new, much tougher criteria. Our ecoTEC boilers successfully meet the required performance criteria of being SEDBUK ‘A’ rated, having a standby electrical power consumption of 10W or less and featuring a keep-hot facility allowing it to be controlled by the user.”
