Paul takes on FETA Presidency
Published:  20 November, 2009

Paul Wenden, engineering and product management director for Fläkt-Woods has been appointed President of FETA, the Federation of Environmental Trade Associations.

Paul is also President of HEVAC the Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Manufacturers Association, which itself is an Incorporated Association of FETA.

Paul says: "One of the reasons FETA's membership is growing is because members realise an enormous benefit, by learning what legislation is in the pipeline, how it could affect them, and by acquiring knowledge about the bigger economic environment in which they operate."

Cedric Sloan, FETA Director General said: "Paul brings a rare combination of skills and experience to the role, he also possesses a determination to increase FETA's visibility and membership, which will benefit our members both new and old."

FETA members are increasingly using the organisation as a forum to share ideas and help each other to find solutions, creating awareness of ideas and problems will lead to mutually beneficial collaborations. The association also holds regular specialist group meetings, which are extremely valuable and FETA provides a great opportunity to discuss, benchmark and improve best practice.

Paul Wenden has spent his entire career in the industry, having initially served a full engineering apprenticeship with Woods of Colchester. During his thirty years experience, he has gained qualifications in Mechanical and Energy Engineering. He is a chartered member of both the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (MCIBSE) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM).
