Zip Heaters (UK) Ltd has redesigned and extended its range of Aquaflo unvented water heating cylinders. Made of high quality, corrosion resistant Duplex stainless steel the new range offers a choice of 90, 120, 150, 180, 210, 250 and 300 litre capacities in direct and indirect configurations. Solar compatible models are also available from 150 litres upwards to meet the growing need for renewable energy solutions.
Addressing requirements for enhanced energy efficiency Zip has significantly improved Aquaflo's heat loss performance, whilst a narrower diameter casing ensures a smaller footprint for easier site access and installation. Further enhancements include a scuff resistant, plasticized case finish, as well as impact resistant lid and base mouldings.
Manufactured in the UK, the Zip Aquaflo range incorporates Incoloy elements with 1¾" bosses, while multi-element options - with up to 12 kW total loading - are available for larger capacity cylinders. The new primary coil-in-coil system is more compact, positioned lower in the cylinder to give greater effective capacity and offers a higher kW loading. External expansion is retained for reliability and ease of installation.
