Monodraught exploits technology
Stand Number: E151
Published:  05 October, 2009

Monodraught will be using its stand at this year's M&E Show to feature a production version of its Cool-phase intelligent passive cooling system, which exploits the latest Phase Change Material (PCM) technology to change the internal temperature of a room according to weather conditions outside.

Cool-phase is designed to be mounted at floor level below a window and against an outside wall. It features fully automatic intelligent controls based on the proven Monodraught iNVent system, which was shown for the first time at last year's Interbuild.

Also on show will be a new range of Monodraught Sunpipes manufactured using aluminium that is made from more than 90% of recycled aluminium which, says managing director Tony Cull, makes this already sustainable product even more environmentally friendly.

"Following a hugely successful year in which we have installed natural ventilation and lighting systems for many of the UK's leading retailers including ASDA, Mark & Spencer, Sainsbury's and Tesco, we could have been forgiven for resting on our laurels." says Tony Cull. "Instead our R&D department has been busy developing complementary products for our growing range of natural technologies that already includes Windcatcher, Suncatcher and Sola-boost systems."
