Vent-Axia, is bringing its innovative Lo-Carbon range of energy efficient ventilation products to M&E - The Building Services Event. Visitors to the stand will see exciting additions to the comprehensive range, including Vent-Axia's Sentinel Kinetic MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) system, the Sentinel Totus D-ERV (Demand Energy Recovery Ventilation) system, and the versatile Quadra domestic fan.
At the forefront of innovation, the Sentinel Kinetic MVHR is an SAP Appendix Q listed ventilation solution and is capable of 90% heat recovery, so helping to reduce the DER of new build properties. A whole house, multi-room ducted solution, this residential MVHR system combines supply and extract ventilation in one unit. Warm, moist air is extracted from wet rooms through ducting and passed through the heat exchanger before being exhausted to the outside. Fresh incoming air is preheated via the integral heat exchanger which recovers up to 90% of the heat energy that would otherwise be wasted.
The Sentinel Totus D-ERV is the UK's first independently tested to EN308 demand energy recovery ventilation system. Achieving up to 90% energy recovery it is designed to meet modern building management control principles. The Sentinel Totus responds to the exact ventilation requirements of a room at any one time providing airflow only when it is required and to the level that is required - therefore using only the energy that is needed; no more, no less, whilst recovering maximum energy from the extracted air and transferring it to the fresh supply air. This overcomes many of the issues encountered with a traditional fixed volume ventilation system that is either on or off irrespective of the occupancy of the room, risking over ventilation, burning valuable money and a wasteful use of energy.
Committed to energy saving ventilation, the DC products within the Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon initiative highlight how much carbon is emitted over a year, therefore measuring the individual carbon footprint. Today, with an integrated distribution network and the largest customer support staff within the HEVAC industry, Vent-Axia leads the way in improving the indoor environment. The company's on-going strategy is to ensure that all products and systems will, over time, fall under the Lo-Carbon umbrella.
