Five new products from Baxi
Stand Number: C120
Published:  05 October, 2009

Baxi Commercial Division has a prominent stand, once again directly opposite the CPD Theatre from which it will be launching no less than five new products and exhibiting a selection from its established range of high efficiency commercial heating and low/zero carbon (LZC) solutions. Yan Evans, technical director of Baxi Commercial Division and various product managers will be on hand to explain the new concepts as well as the features and benefits of all the solutions on show.

Yan Evans will also be delivering a CPD presentation each day within the seminar programme giving greater insight into how the new technologies available can be successfully integrated into high efficiency heating systems.

Making its debut appearance is the new Andrews AMBIflo air source (air-to-water) heat pump for commercial applications. This is a highly practical alternative in situations where it is not possible to site solar panels, due to lack of suitable roof space or because panels would be obscured from the sun, or other constraints such as inability to obtain planning permission on a listed building. With a rated output of 20kW the AMBIflo achieves a high Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 3.2 (air at 2°C and water at 35°C) and, being an ‘out of the box' solution, is easy and comparatively inexpensive to install.

The trusted Eurocondense range has also been completely transformed and is presented on the stand as Eurcondense three. Aesthetically improved, it is smaller, lighter with a reduced footprint and all connections are on the top for greater siting options and ease of installation. This cascade boiler offers a wider range of hydraulic accessories as well as a room sealed option. The internal layout has been completely redesigned so that the heat exchanger is now sectional and has a single burner assembly, positioned at the front which slides out for easy servicing.

Also on display will be well-established and popular heating and hot water appliances from both brands, together with current renewable solutions. Potterton Commercial will be displaying the innovative Sirius SAT, launched at the M&E Event last year. Andrews' SOLARflo solar thermal water heating solution will also be demonstrated with both evacuated tube and glazed flat plate solar collector options on display.
