Xpelair launches slim MEV
Published:  27 July, 2009

Xpelair has launched an innovative, high performance MEV central extract unit reducing the projection off the wall or ceiling by 25% compared to most conventional units.

The Xplus 2 has been developed with a 190mm depth compared to the traditional 250mm profile, making Xpelair's solution much easier to install, especially in space restrictive applications like ceiling voids in apartments.

Xplus 2 continuously extracts stale and moist air from both domestic and commercial wet areas, such as kitchens and bathrooms. With the ability to be mounted at any angle, the radical British design of the Xplus2 features five 125mm extract spigot connections and three blanking plates, giving installers total flexibility in choosing the number and direction of the spigots they want, reducing airflow resistance and noise.

Suitable for temperatures up to 50oC, the Xplus 2 features an external rotor motor to ensure the waste air is replaced with the highest quality air.  A range of accessories are also available, including a Profile 60 rectangular flat duct together with a 125mm rigid and flexible ducting, either insulated or un-insulated, for a complete ventilation system.
