Merlin radiant heating panels
Published:  06 July, 2009

MHS Radiators has launched a new range of energy saving radiant ceiling panels which are perfect for integration with T-Bar suspended ceiling systems.

With significant reductions in energy consumption possible, Merlin radiant heat panels are a great choice for specifiers in these cost conscious times.

Designed for commercial interiors such as retail, schools, hospitals and offices, Merlin radiant panels are a cost-effective alternative to traditional radiators because they can reduce energy consumption significantly as heat is delivered directly to the areas where it's needed.  The panels can generally operate at lower airspace temperatures (typically 3oC lower than the equivalent convective air system) without any loss of comfort.

Merlin radiant ceiling panels have an output of up to 600W per m2 (depending on operating conditions) and are available in modular lengths of 600, 1200, 1800, 2400 and 3000 mm.

Merlin panels are constructed from up to 2.5mm thick, smooth faced, powder coated (RAL 9010, 30% gloss), lightweight aluminium with returned edges to provide additional strength.  Internally, the Merlin panels have a 15mm copper tube to the rear of the panel with heat sink pipe saddles.
