New floor standing units
Published:  06 July, 2009

New high efficiency floor-standing heat pump indoor air conditioning units from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Europe (MHIE) boast the highest CoP (Coefficient of Performance) levels in their class.

The new design SRF-ZIX floor-standing indoor unit series teams up with SRC-ZIX outdoor units to provide extremely cost effective single split cooling or heating solutions for small commercial applications. The indoor units are quiet running and stylishly designed to fit into any room - and they are easy to install.

There are three inverter heat pump units in the range, providing 2.5kW, 3.5kW and 5.0kW of cooling respectively (3.4kW, 4.5Kw and 6.0kW of heating).

Mitsubishi Heavy's sales manager David Lettis says all three sizes comfortably exceed A Class performance targets in both cooling and heating. "A number of small steps in design and manufacturing have come together to produce the industry's highest CoP level - pointing to long term energy savings that will benefit both the user's pocket and the environment."

For the installer, the SRF-ZIX units offer easy installation with a choice of six directions for piping and drain hose connections.
