Compact screw compressor range
Published:  01 May, 2009

To offer even greater capacity and energy efficiency, Bitzer has enhanced its CSH Compact Screw compressor range with two new models and as a result can offer increased potential cooling capacity in air-conditioning applications.

With the new compact screw compressors, CSH95101 and CSH95111, Bitzer is taking the CSH series into a higher capacity range. Instead of 910 cubic metres, the theoretical displacement is now 1015 cubic metres for the CSH95101 and as high as 1120 cubic meters per hour at 50 hertz.

The new compressors remain compact in size despite the greater capacities. Indeed, they offer the shortest installation lengths in their capacity class.  All CSH series compressors are energy-efficient and, depending on the application, customers can conveniently regulate the capacity of the compressor infinitely or on a graded basis at any time and without any modification.  For flexibility, the compressor can be operated with both R134a and with R407C.

With the Economiser operation, energy efficiency can even be increased further - along with an increase in cooling capacity.  The Economiser can be used in full-load and in part-load operation.
