The 2008 KNX UK Awards were presented at the Association's AGM by President Iain Gordon and recognised winners in the categories of Product of the Year, Installation of the Year and KNX Champion.
The winning entrant in Installation of the Year was Building Evolution from the Isle of Man for their installation at the Old Courthouse in Douglas. This was a multi-faceted project embracing many different KNX products and exploiting the benefits of BACnet and Internet Protocol technology. The award was accepted by Managing Director Nigel Stafford.
Manufacturer of the Year was Theben for their new CO2 sensor, and KNX UK Sales Manager Stephen Payne accepted the award. Gary Turnbull of Electrak was voted KNX Champion of the Year for his outstanding contribution to KNX UK's publicity and marketing activities.
