Specially designed trailers from Stanley Handling have been supplied to longstanding client Enviro-Waste GB Ltd, a leading provider of sustainable and cost effective site-based waste management and recycling solutions.
Working with owners and managers of commercial property such as retail parks, industrial estates and shopping centres as well as clients in the educational and manufacturing sectors, the company recently needed help with collecting bagged waste on a major London industrial estate.
Not satisfied with the standard trailers available, Stanley Handling came up with a purpose-designed twin-axle, mesh-sided model. Half dropped sides were specified to permit easy access for loading and unloading and lights were fitted to the rear of the body to guarantee safe 24-hour use. Couplings on the six trailers supplied also enable them to be towed, when required, as a train to maximise capacity and reduce energy costs.
"The trailers are already proving their worth on this contract," commented Enviro-Waste's Anthony Bunce. "That extra bit of thought on the design has made a real difference."
