Stokvis Energy Systems report increasing demand from hotels and leisure centre for energy efficient boilers and plate heat exchanger to replace hot water storage systems.
At the Ibis Hotel in Earls Court the phased changeover from the old steel power burner boilers to four Stokvis Econoflame R3505 series units was carried out by Reading based M&E specialist, Calmec Building Services under the supervision of the hotel's own chief engineer, Mr Del Brough. The energy refurbishment has further increased the hotel's capacity to deal with periods of high demand, while also reducing fuel consumption.
The four Stokvis R3505 series boilers provide the combined benefits of low water content and full modulation, making them extremely fuel efficient. Each of the boilers delivers one Megawatt of output, while a control unit ramps them up in sequence in response to demand.
