Published:  07 October, 2008

IQ Refrigeration, the recently launched specialist design and project management company, has appointed well-known industry figure Ben Brown to the senior management team.

Ben Brown, immediate past president of the British Refrigeration Association and a past president of FETA, is appointed Sales and Marketing Director. He joins former Sainsbury's men Nick Rivers, Design Director, and Roger Borer, non-executive director, at the East Grinstead-based company.

Jacquie Russell, Managing Director, said: "We are delighted to have Ben onboard. His knowledge of the market, technical expertise and industry contacts are an unbeatable combination."

Bob Russell, Managing Director of sister company IQ Projects, said: "The already strong relationships with existing IQ people provide an excellent foundation for the future. Ben is uniquely qualified for the job of developing IQ Refrigeration, as our sales centre forward."

IQ Refrigeration is already working on a number of major projects, including designs for carbon dioxide-based refrigeration solutions.  There is currently great interest in carbon dioxide as a mainstream alternative, given its low potential impact on the environment.
