On the Baxi Commercial Division stand, Andrews Water Heaters and Potterton Commercial will be launching new products and showing recent additions to these ranges alongside already well established and popular heating and hot water appliances and a selection of renewable solutions. Yan Evans, Technical Director of Baxi Commercial Division will be delivering a CPD presentation each day within the Seminar programme on the subject of ‘The Marriage of LZC Solutions and Conventional Technologies in the Modern Commercial Plant Room'.
Under the Andrews brand, the new look SupaFlo and SupaHeat range of water heaters and commercial boilers features the new SF60 series which has seven models with outputs from 142kW to 539kW. Together with the R300 series models starting at 74kW, a wider range of sizing options are now offered so that application demand can be matched even more closely. Recovery rates for the SF60 models range from 2,430 to 9,230 litres/hour, with a temperature rise of 50°C, virtually double the recovery capability of superseded models, and a net efficiency of approximately 104%.
Extending still further the Andrews extensive offer of high efficiency condensing water heaters is the SC Range. This concept incorporates the latest technology, including a fully condensing stainless steel heat exchanger, auto-ignition and pre-mix controls, and BMS interface, the SC offers high efficiency of 106% (net) and ultra low NOx performance at less than 25ppm. The SC will be available in vented or unvented format and offers 200, 300 and 400 litre stainless steel storage tank options. In all cases the compact dimensions of these water heaters means that they can fit through a standard doorway.
The Sirius SAT is a totally new type of product to join the Potterton Commercial range responding to a trend towards centralised heating and hot water solutions in multi-occupancy residential developments. The Sirius SAT is a range of ‘heat box' solutions for the provision and control of heating and hot water within each dwelling of a residential block of flats that is served by a centralised plant room. It also allows local metering of heating and hot water consumption in each dwelling and facilitates remote reading of metered consumption, reducing meter reading costs.
Andrews Water Heaters will display both its evacuated tube and glazed flat plate solar collector options to complement the SOLARflo renewable energy water heating package, the innovative Andrews MAXxflo, Queens Award winning stainless steel condensing storage water heater and the traditional style ECOflo, high efficiency range of condensing glass-lined storage water heaters.
Potterton Commercial will also show the GaeaTherm 21.3kW ground source heat pump with a market beating 4.7 Coefficient of Performance (COP). The 115kW Paramount two, largest of the wall hung high efficiency boilers and the compact Sirius condensing boiler available in both floorstanding (FS) and wall hung (WH) versions.
