M&E Event - Victaulic showcases installation-ready technology
Published:  07 October, 2008

Victaulic, the world's leading grooved pipe joining system manufacturer, is showcasing its wide range of couplings, accessories, valves and fittings for the HVAC, fire protection and industrial process piping markets at this year's London M&E Event.

Victaulic will use the show to demonstrate its Style 107 QuickVic rigid coupling, launched successfully to the market earlier this year. The Style 107 QuickVic rigid coupling is engineered with Victaulic revolutionary installation-ready technology which is pre-assembled to improve productivity, efficiency and safety and ultimately increase profitability. The Style 107 QuickVic rigid coupling also features a new proprietary Grade EHP high performance gasket.

The design of the new Style 107 QuickVic rigid coupling dramatically cuts installation time and provides a safer work environment, increased productivity, efficiency and profitability. Style 107 QuickVic rigid couplings are rated up to 4000kPa/580psi in nominal sizes 50mm, 65mm, 76,1mm, 80mm and150mm (2"- 6") and can be used on carbon steel and stainless steel applications.

Also on display on the Victaulic stand will be its range of large diameter rigid and flexible couplings, fittings, valves and accessories - the Advanced Groove System (AGS), and the FireLock NXT line of dry, alternate (wet/dry), wet, deluge and pre-action devices for fire protection systems. All Victaulic products are designed with performance, speed and ease of installation in mind.

Fred Matyiku, Country Manager, UK and Ireland, comments: "Once again M&E gives us the opportunity to showcase our complete grooved pipe joining systems for the HVAC and fire protection markets. The big focus this year will be on our installation-ready technology that gives our product a competitive edge and enables contractors to increase productivity, efficiency and profitability."
