With outputs of between 600kW and 1.9MW, the Ultramax R3400 and 3600SB series of gas fired condensing boilers from MHS are breaking new boundaries in terms of output and efficiency from a compact unit.
Ideally suited for larger commercial heating applications including schools, offices, retail centres, hotels or community heating projects, the Ultramax R3400/3600SB series can also be used in a cascade arrangement of up to eight boilers.
Strength and durability are intrinsic to the Ultramax R3400/3600SB series thanks to its manufacture using all stainless steel heat exchanger components. The boilers feature modulating, down-firing, premix burners with unique water cooling to the combustion system delivering controllability with efficiency and clean burning.
Thanks to their compact dimensions and low weight, the R3400 and R3600SB appliances are perfect for roof top plant room installation, as well as for installations where plant room space is at a premium. The boilers have an output to floor space ratio of around 380kW/m² and power to weight ratio of 0.98kW/kg.
