Hager has launched a twin pan assembly board with metering mounted inside to offer a compact and convenient solution for metering energy consumption to meet Part L2.
Using the solution, lighting and power is metered individually. This avoids the need to calculate consumption and ensures accurate readings from each of the circuits.
The compact current transformers are mounted directly on the pan assembly freeing space inside the enclosure for cabling. Prefitted incomers save installation time.
The boards come in two 125A variants, a six by six and an eight by twelve outgoing way option.
Hager can also tailor solutions to provide additional features such as data logging and web connectivity for remote meter reading. A full tailored solutions design and build service allows the company to also offer solutions requiring more individual metered circuits such as for power, lighting, heating and air conditioning.
Hager Product Manager Steve Dyson said: "Such is the demand for metered solutions that we felt it time to introduce a standard board with integral metering rather than the more conventional approach of using extension boxes."
