Iain Gordon is the new President of KNX UK, the association representing UK manufacturers, integrators and training establishments associated with KNX technology.
Iain is a KNX systems integrator and owns his own company GES Digital based in Hampshire. He has extensive experience of KNX technology including the design and installation of systems in both residential and commercial applications. He says: "The recent Light and Building Exhibition in Frankfurt demonstrated that KNX technology already has a large European market share and this will be increased over the coming years through its fast growing adaptation in the UK. Some very exciting developments will take place here in the very near future and KNX UK members will be the driving force behind these."
The KNX standard is a system for building and home control and automation which is fully compliant to EN 50090, the European Standard for building and home Electronic Systems. The KNX registration mark is the guarantee of conformance of any product to EN 50090.
