Grundfos increase R&D spend
Published:  30 May, 2008

Grundfos has announced an increase in the amount of investment that the Group made in the all-important area of Research and Development in 2007 which saw this figure reach an impressive £80m.

This investment, the highest for many years, represents 4.8% of the Groups total annual turnover. This further emphasises the importance the company places on continuing to design new products as well as evolving and re-engineering their existing portfolio. These products will become the next generation of ultra-efficient, award winning and reliable pumping solutions.

There are no plans to slow this rate of financial support down; in fact Grundfos have additional plans to invest a figure in excess of £150m in 2008 to ensure that they can meet the requirements of the many markets which they serve through increased expansion which will lead to improved capacity.
