Cliff Bailey has been appointed as the new laboratory manager at Trox UK. In this role, he will manage Trox's state-of-the-art test facilities in Thetford, Norfolk, which include five hightech demonstration laboratories and an ultra-modern fan coil unit test chamber.
Cliff joined the Trox laboratory in 1998, constructing commercial project test cells including governmental buildings, office, and hotel suites and ensuring calibration compliance of all test instrumentation.
Before this, he helped Trox UK to gain the quality management accreditation BS5750 (now ISO9000) and was involved in site inspection/ rectification on hospitals, nuclear power stations and government buildings.
Cliff said: "I hope the challenges already met over the past 30 years will stand me in good stead in my new role as laboratory manager. However, we live in an ever-changing world where value for money and increased energy efficiency are paramount, and fulfilling our client's wishes will always be the top of my list."
