SummitSkills, the sector skills council for building services engineering, has announced two new appointments to its expanding team.
John Pratt joins as Development Manager with vast experience in the sector, having begun his career as an apprentice plumber some 30 years ago, before establishing his own business in the domestic, commercial, and industrial building services industry. He later moved into further education and became a lecturer in plumbing. Prior to joining SummitSkills, John was head of the Centre for Construction, Building Services and the Built Environment programmes, at Highbury College, Portsmouth.
Vince Glover takes up the position of Operations Manager for London, following a senior level managerial and leadership appointment for Edexcel, the awarding body and education services provider. Other roles include qualification delivery manager, and training manager, with responsibility for the professional development of schools, colleges, and businesses in 112 countries worldwide.
