Rebecca Johnson Bsc MBA has moved to the Baxi Commercial Heating team as Marketing Manager from Rolls-Royce, Civil Aerospace. Rebecca has over seven years experience in a professional marketing and commercial capacity gained in predominantly scientific, technological and engineering environments.
Rebecca will be responsible for ensuring that both Andrews Water Heaters and Potterton Commercial sales teams have effective data systems, market intelligence, technical knowledge and promotional materials in place to fully support both the field and office-based customer interface so that every competitive advantage may be maximised. "It was obvious to me that this is an industry with an important contribution to make towards the global challenge of reducing carbon emissions", says Rebecca. "I am excited to be involved with one of the leading groups committed to pioneering work in the development and production of new technologies that address this problem and offer viable solutions".
According to Paul Hardy, Managing Director of Baxi Commercial Heating: "The changing face of the H&V industry as it embraces the renewables sector, places a greater emphasis on effective communications and marketing activity. We were very fortunate to prise Rebecca away from Rolls-Royce and, in the few months she has been with us, Rebecca already has made a valuable contribution to the operation of our team".
