Hoare Lea appoints new partner
Published:  21 November, 2007

Andrew Morris has accepted an invitation to become a Partner of Hoare Lea Consulting Engineers.

Andrew joined Hoare Lea’s Bristol office as an Executive Engineer in 1998. He was promoted to Associate in 2001 and has successfully run a multidisciplinary team for the past four years.

Andrew has considerable experience within the construction industry and has completed landmark projects in the residential, commercial and education sectors. His project work includes serial appointments with the University of Warwick, MEPC and the Prudential, the Broad Quay redevelopment in the centre of Bristol, the BMW Mini Cooper production line in Oxford, and Oxford Science Park.

Andrew will continue to lead his design team in the Bristol office and will now also be responsible for developing the Practice’s production design capabilities.

Mark West, Partner, Hoare Lea Consulting Engineers comments: “Andrew Morris’s promotion is richly deserved. His commercial approach has been invaluable in setting up mutually rewarding relationships with contractors and developers alike. As a Partner he will play a key role in addressing the challenges that lie ahead, particularly the resourcing issues that are at the heart of the construction industry. I wish him every success in his future role within the Partnership.”
