Vaillant has provided two ecoMAX 65kW boilers, a low loss header, condense pump and air & dirt separator for a brand new private GP practice, Chase Lodge in Mill Hill, London.
Chase Lodge Medical Centre, located in a Georgian building on the site of the former training ground of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, is home to one of the first new forms of GP practices in the country. As well as providing traditional GP services, Chase Lodge provides x-rays, maternity services, and a sports injury clinic as well as an acute care hospital.
The specifiers were Haskey Plumbing and Butlers Plumbing & Heating Services, while David Flint Plumbing Services installed the boilers. Peter Haskey said: “The ecoMAX from Vaillant is a boiler we’ve used before. It’s very reliable and the service we get from Vaillant always means we’re happy to use their products whenever possible. This building really needed a constant supply of hot water and to be warm in winter, to meet patient needs and this is why we installed two boilers of 65kW each to deliver exactly that.”
Dr Sarah Lotzof, one of the GPs at the Chase Lodge Medical Centre, said: “Our old industrial boiler was condemned because of problems with its flue. The new Vaillant boilers were installed and they are fantastic. We have 20 rooms and need lots of hot water, as it’s vital for our patients and staff alike. Now we have hot water on demand and it’s warm and cosy in the winter.”
The ecoMAX range of commercial, high efficiency condensing boilers is available in three power output options - 35kW, 46kW and 65kW and are all SEDBUK Band 'A' rated. They use fuel more economically and a high performance stainless steel heat exchanger captures otherwise wasted heat.

There is an obvious need for the industry to be more energy efficient and pay more attention to the ways in which energy is both used and wasted. Do you think we have the products on the market to meet our needs?
