Ashley Bateson has accepted the invitation to become a Partner of Hoare Lea Consulting Engineers. Ashley Bateson, MSc, CEng, MCIBSE, MEI, joined Hoare Lea in 2004 to establish the Sustainability Group. As Principal he has built a group that has gained a high profile and reputation in the construction community.
Ashley has worked on a wide range of projects from the seminal energy strategy for the £1.2Billion East Terminal at Heathrow, to the post occupancy evaluation of award-winning projects such as the Environment Agency’s Red Kite House. He has also published many academic papers and recently co-authored the BCO Best Practice Guide to Environmental Management in Offices. Ashley regularly presents technical and conference papers and lectures at UCL and LSE on sustainability in the built environment.
In 2006 Ashley was presented with the British Land CSR Award 2006 with the citation: “Hoare Lea made an outstanding contribution towards our mission to construct sustainable buildings with their energy strategies for Regents Place and Canada Water”.
