Published:  20 June, 2007

A new conference, aimed at meeting the needs of senior management and directors will take place at The Energy Event 2007. The papers at the conference are intended to answer the questions of those at board level that are tasked with controlling energy costs as part of their wider job role. The conference will provide proprietary information, not freely available via the media or consultants.

The conference will take place as part of The Energy Event 2007 on 12 and 13 September 2007 at The National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham.

A new addition to The Energy Event 2007, this conference is split into two areas with day one focusing on energy procurement while day two looks at energy management. Eamonn Brennan, Exhibition Director, comments on this new conference saying: “The aim is to inform delegates on how the UK economy and individual businesses can achieve economic growth and increase competitiveness while improving corporate social responsibility through high standards in energy and environmental policy.”

Amongst those presenting papers at the conference include Matthew Farrow, Head of Environment at the CBI, he will discuss the CBI’s policy work on all environmental issues, including climate change, waste, environmental regulation, and energy policy.
