Hays Building Services, part of the UK’s leading specialist recruitment consultancy to the built environment, has appointed Tim Cook as Managing Director.
Tim possesses extensive experience in the industry having worked at Hays for over 19 years. Starting as a trainee recruitment consultant, he has experienced almost all the forms of construction recruitment, including working directly with building services professionals. Tim has been Deputy Managing Director for the past 18 months.
Commenting on his appointment Tim said: “As recruiters for building services professionals, we face real challenges – particularly managing employee skills shortages which are further exacerbated by major projects such as the 2012 Olympics and nationally, major public sector investment. We work closely with a number of key industry bodies, such as the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). This highlights our commitment to the industry and I look forward to developing these relationships further.”
