This means there is a frequent need to alter lighting systems to match the changed workstation layouts. This process normally involves hiring an electrician to alter cabling and switching, or having to carry out the complicated and time consuming process of reprogramming managed lighting systems via a PC.

He just needs to point the programmer at the nearest luminaire and easily make the changes needed at the touch of a button.
