Fläkt Woods has been awarded a substantial contract to supply car park ventilation solutions for the 53 storey Dual Tower Buildings, located in the heart of Bahrain’s new $1.3 billion Financial Centre development.
At 260m high, the Dual Towers are set to become the tallest buildings in the kingdom. The design is based on sails set at opposing angles and each building will offer office and commercial space for the financial sector, and look out over the Arabian Gulf.
The project is a multi level car park with run and standby smoke extract fans rated for 300oC and fresh air inlet fans for Carbon Monoxide (CO) and smoke ventilation, the fans are on four floors, basement, ground, first and mezzanine.
