The world’s most efficient fan
Published:  31 May, 2006

Fläkt Woods has won the most important environmental award patented in Nordic countries, for their energy efficient CentriflowPlus plug fan, significantly more efficient than comparable fans.

The Swedish Stora Inneklimatspriset 2005 award for indoor air improvement went to the Flakt Woods’ CentriflowPlus fan - the most efficient fan of its type in the world. The significance of this award cannot be overemphasised as Nordic countries have always placed extreme importance on energy efficiency.

CentriflowPlus is already used in Fläkt Woods' air handling unit series EU, EC and STING. Its outstanding performance in efficiency - up to 77% - means an extremely economical electricity consumption and ultra low life cycle costs.
