Cofathec UK has acquired Halesowen-based Energy Services Ltd (ESL) as part of its strategic expansion in the Energy Management market. The acquisition will boost Cofathec’s turnover by £5 million and will bring an additional 17 members of staff.
The Cofathec Group is the service arm of Gaz de France, a leading international energy utility and service provider with a presence throughout the entire energy chain. ESL will be fully integrated with the Energy Management division of Cofathec Heatsave, the principal trading subsidiary of Cofathec UK, with operational and administrative staff based at the company’s new premises in Birmingham. Cofathec has been active in the field of energy management in the UK since 1978 and currently employs around 700 people.
