In the face of strong competition, Grundfos Pumps Ltd has been granted a share of the Anglian Water Borehole Framework Agreement. This new agreement will run for an initial three years with the option for a further two additional years available.
Serving 2.6 million properties, Anglian Water is geographically the largest water company in England and Wales covering 27,500 square kilometres. They supply over one billion litres of water every day through their network of 36,000 kilometres of water mains and treat wastewater at 1075 sewage treatment works.
The new agreement provides for the supply and repair of Grundfos SP and SPG submersible pumps. These pumps are available with a range of motors and controls that are perfectly adapted for water supply. They are made entirely of stainless steel both inside and out giving them an extended working life. Combine this with their high efficiency and the consequent low running costs, and it is clear they offer an ideal solution in many water applications.
Working in partnership with their customers is something that is of the utmost importance to both Grundfos and Anglian Water and this new agreement will mean that the working partnership already established will continue in the future.
