The launch of a new extranet website, allowing fast, easy and secure access to the latest developments in the Desigo PX range of modular HVAC controllers from Siemens Building Technologies, was among the highlights of the first Desigo Certified Partner Conference held at the Siemens Building Technologies factory in Zug,Switzerland.
Exclusively for the use of Desigo Certified Partners, the extranet site provides software downloads, product announcements, dedicated technical support and a fast convenient ordering system, ensuring that partners are always in a position to provide their customers with the most efficient and cost-effective HVAC solutions.
Other highlights of the conference, which marked the first anniversary of the launch of the Desigo range and the setting up of the Desigo Certified Partner Scheme, included a factory visit to see the quality controlled environment in which Desigo products are manufactured,a presentation by the Swiss product managers of new developments in the range, and a question-and-answer session hosted by the engineers responsible for product design and development.
"We're hoping to make these conferences an annual event,"said David Smithson,Divisional Director of Siemens Building Technologies."Not only do they offer some small recognition and reward for the efforts our Desigo Partners make throughout the year, they also provide us with the best possible opportunity to discuss our ideas for the future of the range, and to take on board the invaluable feedback that our partners invariably provide."
