Peace of mind from Armstrong
Published:  02 July, 2005

Armstrong Integrated Systems Limited has launched a range of six pre-designed packaged plantrooms designed specifically for the needs of educational sites. The plantrooms are of different sizes to match the load requirements of a wide range of educational sites from a small school to a college.

Pre-designed plantroom and pump assemblies offer cost savings by introducing an element of standardisation and taking the one-off design cost element out of the project. In addition, the plantrooms are pre-built,away from the educational site and delivered to the school or college just requiring final connection.

There are many benefits of this approach.Instead of having to wait until the summer break to build a new boiler-room on-site,a prefabricated plantroom can be constructed at Armstrong’s factory, and installed at the school or college over a weekend,at any time throughout the academic year.Building in the factory also removes the unknowns and reduces the risk of costly on-site delays, waste and rework. The factory environment also lends itself to stringent monitoring of quality control during the assembly process.
