Where greater cable fill capability is required on flexible conduit systems,Adaptaflex now offers a full range of ‘big bore’ fittings for its market-leading Adaptalok non-metallic flexible conduit range.
Designed with a fixed external thread, the ‘big bore’fittings have a wide unrestricted through bore allowing for increased cable fill within the system. They offer a metric replacement for PG threads and are available in straight black fittings as standard.
Adaptaflex’s highly versatile Adaptalok,non-metallic,flexible conduit system, used for the protection of electrical, data and video cabling, utilises easy to install,one-piece,push and twist fittings and offers an IP66 rating as standard.
The bore of the Adaptalok fitting presents a tapered entry to the conduit to achieve sealing to IP66 without the need for tools, gaskets or sealants, when used with Nylon conduit from the Adaptaflex range. This makes installation fast and efficient and is further enhanced thanks to the unrestricted, smooth interior bore of the fitting making cable drawing easy.
Once assembled, the system offers high pull-off strength and resistance to vibration and tampering.
