Heat discreet with Dimplex
Published:  02 July, 2005

There’s a discreet new way to heat with the latest addition to the restyled Dimplex AC range of over door heaters that allows out of sight installations near doorways or in ceilings.Because the heat source is concealed, the product is ideal for shops, offices and all installations where interior aesthetics are important.

Available as a complete kit with ceiling grille and wall mounted remote control, the new 3kW AC3CN heater can be easily installed in suspended or plasterboard ceilings. They provide a user controllable flow of warm or unheated air, with half and full speed settings for year-round comfort.

The attractive aluminium grille measures 600mm x 600mm and can be inserted in modular suspended ceiling systems while the 610mm x 610mm frame is used with plaster ceilings.‘Behind the scenes’,the product has threaded bosses in the top of the casing for optimum flexibility so it can be suspended from the ceiling using either threaded bars or hooks so it can hang from cables.

For safety, there’s a thermal cut-out plus the element is wire stitched, and protected within the robust casing.
