Center Parcs specifies Hochiki
Published:  07 April, 2005

The newly constructed central dome in the village square of Center Parcs in Suffolk is protected by Hochiki Europe's latest analogue addressable fire detection technology.

Defensor Fire Detection Systems Limited have installed over 500 of Hochiki's ESP analogue addressable multisensors on site, allowing either Heat/Smoke or a combination of both types of phenomenon to be selected according to the risk, and to be either automatically or manually controlled. The smoke sensors incorporate Hochiki's 'High Performance Optical Technology' which allows the devices to be equally sensitive to a significantly wider range of combustible materials, reducing the risk of unwanted alarms.

Extensive control of other equipment across the system is achieved by 400 Hochiki Input/Output Modules which are central to the efficient functionality of the system. The complete system has been commissioned by Defensor Fire Detection Systems, including a complete network of Morley control panels.
