A new acoustic wall ventilator has been launched by Greenwood Air Management. The new Greenwood AWV39 provides excellent acoustic attenuation and continuous trickle ventilation in line with current Building Regulations requirements.
Suitable for all wall thicknesses between 255mm and 370mm, the AWV39 is suitable for both refurbishment and new build applications and provides acoustic attenuation performance to Dn,e w 39dB, making it suitable for use near busy roads, airports and industrial sites.
The new ventilator is simply installed using a core drill of 117mm cut through the wall. The vent can then be pushed through the hole where a ready-fixed rubber seal automatically provides a weather tight protection between the sleeve and the external grille. There is no need for the use of ladders or scaffolding.
Available with white internal and white and brown external grilles as standard, the AWV39 is supplied as a complete unit, ready to fit. It is an outstandingly simple, easily installed and effective solution to noise and ventilation problems in refurbishment and new build projects. Alternative coloured grilles are also available on request.
