Ebm-papst UK Ltd has introduced a new medium range blower for heating and ventilation applications and cooker extractor hoods.
Complementing the existing blower range, the new dual inlet D2E 146 K has an air performance range of 500 - 700 m3/h with a maximum ultimate pressure of 400 Pa. It utilises the proven technology of Ebm’s external rotor motor located onto the scroll with anti-vibration mountings. The scroll housing is constructed from heat-resistant polypropylene with an integrated terminal box for the working capacitor and the AMP plug. Optional grille guards are available.
The external rotor motor comes with ball bearings and four speed steps as standard but is also available with sleeve bearings and five speed steps as options.
The prime use for this new blower is for cooker hoods, but it can also be used in heating and ventilation applications where a circular exhaust opening of 150mm can be directly mounted. It is type approved to EN 60335-2-31 (Cooker hoods).
