Switch to push button timers
Published:  08 March, 2005

There are energy savings to be made by simply installing push button timers in place of standard light switches and there’s no better time to do it than now with limited daylight hours and the Adaptaflex ‘Energy Saving’ promotion.

Not only do the push button timers allow you the opportunity to take control of your energy usage they can be fitted into standard single gang back boxes making for an easy retrofit in replacing standard light switches.

The range of Elkay pneumatic and electronic push button timers are ideal for hallways, corridors and staircases as well as general purpose use. All are in stock and available at participating stockists.

The timers afford run times that can be pre-set during installation, ranging from one second up to two hours, allowing the appropriate duration to be set for a given application. There use alleviates the problem of lights being left on continuously when nobody is using the controlled area providing significant energy savings and rapid payback for the units.
