Digby Jones,Director General of the CBI,is to make a keynote address to the winners and guests at the 2005 National Training Awards for the heating,ventilating,air conditioning and refrigeration(hvacr) industry.
Taking place on 16 March at the British Library in London,the event will celebrate the achievements of young apprentices and engineers,as well as award new management talent and present bursaries to allow students to further their education in the sector.
The CBI,cited as the ‘voice of business’,is the major lobbying organisation for UK business.Digby is a prominent figure in the national media, regularly seen promoting the interests of wealth and job creation.
“We are absolutely delighted that Digby Jones is joining us at the National Training Awards,” said Keith Marshall,Chief Executive of SummitSkills,Sector Skills Council for building services engineering and organiser of the event.“The high achievers in the industry warrant a high profile speaker and we are looking forward to what should be a stirring and thought-provoking address.”
