Grant's great outdoors
Published:  10 January, 2005

Grant has extended its condensing technology to the Outdoor Module range, with the launch of the Vortex outdoor condensing models.

With gross seasonal efficiencies between 92.7% to 97% and SEDBUK A rated, the new models are available in three sizes,15kW-26kW, 26kW-6kW and 36kW-46kW.

Supplied with a multi-directional flue system, all boilers include a frost stat inside control panel, mains isolating switch, neat stainless steel terminal guard and a test switch. The robust casing has an external powder-coated finish.

All outdoor condensing modules can be easily converted to sealed system operation by a Grant preassembled kit, which includes an expansion vessel, automatic air vent, pressure relief valve and circulating pump.

Also supplied as part of the kit are a filling loop and a pressure gauge, which can be fitted within the module casing or,inside the building, between the cold main and central heating return.

Another advantage of the Outdoor Module range is that it cuts installation costs dramatically, as little or no building work is necessary.

A new brochure highlighting the entire Grant Vortex range of high efficiency, oil fired condensing boilers is now available.
