FläktWoods has launched a new range of Econovent thermal wheels specifically designed for the OEM market.
The new PUMK cassette range,which is available in 14 standard wheel sizes from 300–2400mm in diameter covering an airflow range of up to 12 m3/s,also offers the user customised sizes within the range.For a greater optimisation on temperature and humidity efficiency, flexibility with the overall casing dimensions is also offered.
To simplify the wheel selection process,a newly developed web based selection program is available, showing a wide range of wheel versions and materials,such as non-hygroscopic,plus hygroscopic and sorption.For aggressive and corrosive environments,edge-reinforced aluminium and epoxy coated wheels are available.
The cassette unit has been specifically developed to minimise the space required when fitting into an Air Handling Unit.This means that the wheel diameter is optimised to provide the largest possible surface area in a specified overall casing dimension.
The easy-to-install cassette unit is delivered as a complete package,which includes the wheel,support casing,and drive system on a variable speed system.
