The newly launched AMTECH2009 comprises upgraded and enhanced versions of FastTest, FastTest Domestic and FastTest Mobile, ProDesign and ProDesign Domestic and SingleCable software from Amtech Power Software. Many of these new features have been introduced in response to requests from customers.
As well as fully incorporating the requirements of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, key features across the entire range include new tools to increase productivity and profitability as well as smarter information sharing between desktop systems and mobile devices.
FastTest 2009, for example, offers faster searching and adding of boards within a certificate and enhanced board management tools, particularly when multiple engineers have worked on one installation. Like its predecessors, FastTest 2009 also offers the option of printing certificates onto plain paper, rather than having to buy pre-printed certificates, thus providing significant cost savings as well as enhanced productivity.
FastTest Mobile 2009, which has been completely re-written, builds on the success of former versions and includes new features that have been requested by customers. These include the ‘multi-engineer import' facility, which allows data from several PDAs to be merged into the main database.
