Sontay has appointed Donal Lynch to the newly created role of Sales Manager for Ireland.
Sontay has taken the move to create this new role due to increasing demand for Sontay products in all of Ireland. Irish-born Donal brings ample experience and local knowledge to the role.
With a degree in mechanical engineering from Cork Institute of Technology, Donal began his career as a project engineer at Filtertek, a medical device multinational. He then moved into a sales role at Herman Ultrasonics where he covered Ireland and parts of the UK. This was followed by a second sales position at Delta Filtration, filter manufacturers for the HVAC industry, where he learned invaluable information about the HVAC industry and its customers. In this new Sontay Sales Manager role, Donal will be based in Limerick and covers both Northern and Southern Ireland, with current hotspots being Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
“During my time at Delta Filtration I built up the direct sales side from scratch which was a great learning experience but after four years there I decided it was time for a new challenge” explains Donal. “I decided to move to Sontay due to both the technical nature of the products and the impressive range of quality products that they offer. The move to Sontay is definitely proving to be the right one.”
