Delta Controls Inc has attained GOST-R certification for the DHMI - its new 7-inch touch screen Human Machine Interface (HMI).
The Ethernet based DHMI touch screen is a BACnet compliant HMI, which enables users to operate various BACnet equipment and building automation systems along with Delta's range of BACnet controllers for HVAC, access and lighting control.
GOST-R is the Russian equivalent of ISO, CE and TUV-DIN quality standard requirements for electrical safety and EMC performance. The certification is mandatory for a wide range of products sold in Russia and other CIS countries, where CE and other international safety standards are not recognised.
Kurt Graves, Delta's International Business Manager, comments: "The DHMI allows operators to monitor and manage building HVAC systems by using customised real-time graphics. The sophisticated technology is simple to use and this certification demonstrates that it conforms to essential safety requirements and product standards."
Delta Controls Inc. has been active in the Russian building automation market since receiving GOST-R certification for its controller range in 2007.
