Derungs Lighting, part of the Waldmann Group of Companies, has launched its Vanera Corridor and Bedhead ranges. Derungs is one of the world leaders for lighting systems and accessories intended for the healthcare market, combining innovative lighting techniques and a functional design to create state-of-the-art products.
Specifically designed for the illumination of corridors in healthcare applications, Vanera Corridor luminaires use advanced reflectors and prismatic covers to produce a comfortable illumination with a wide angle distribution that ensures that light is projected over the maximum possible area. Shadows and glare are reduced by the unique wide angle light diffusion of Vanera Corridor luminaires, which can either be wall or ceiling mounted.
Bedhead Vanera is wall mounted and provides general light (indirect), reading light (direct) and examination light (direct/indirect), in addition to night light via an LED. DALI versions also offer a dimming option. The simple, enclosed design of all models in the Vanera range make maintenance and cleaning simple and re-lamping is also quick and easy to carry out.
Derungs Vanera luminaires also have EN 60598 test certification as a guarantee that they are safe for use in medical environments.
