Vaillant extends solar offering
Published:  25 July, 2008

Vaillant has strengthened its award winning Total System Solution with the introduction of the auroTHERM exclusive VTK 570 vacuum tube collector - a vacuum tube collector with direct flow. The collector offers high efficiency performance and can generate the highest annual solar gains per m2 of any of our solar collectors.

The auroTHERM exclusive VTK 570 has six absorber tubes, 1,500mm long, each with a high selective aluminium nitrate absorber coating, enhancing the collector's performance. This coating conducts heat via a spacer support for the copper collector pipes, enabling maximum heat to be transferred into the circulating solar fluid.  These collector pipes are brazed at the manifold to ensure maximum integrity of the solar system, and are situated inside of the durable sealed borosilicate glass vacuum tube.

The gross collector area is 1.14m2 and the net collector area is 1m2. Each individual tube has the latest generation Compound Parabolic Concentrator (CPC) external reflector, as well as a ceramic coating for long life durability.
